It took just 22 seconds on February 22nd 2011 to destroy our main shopping district in the CBD.
The question became what to do with the area to breathe new life into it and install a sense of optimism in what would otherwise be forever remembered as a place of chaos, destruction and death on that day.
Our Restart container mall was born and made up almost entirely out of renovated shipping containers, colourful paint and considered landscaping.
Although largely offering high end and boutique retailers, the space is still a great place to meet up for a coffee, relax with an ice cream, view the occasional buskers on show or just sit and watch the world go by.
